July 2026 changes that make calendar planning faster and easier to follow.
Continuous calendar scrolling
Move through days, weeks, and months without repeatedly clicking navigation arrows.

Bulk Create
Write naturally—number your tasks if you want, but you do not need to say “Add X tasks.” euqlic identifies each task, assignee, urgency, due date, and recurrence, then separates the request into individual cards for review. Try these copy-ready inputs:
- Numbered tasks with due dates, no urgency:
Add 3 tasks: 1) Review the open account list by Tuesday, 2) Prepare the finance summary by Wednesday, 3) Write client follow-up notes by Friday. - Natural sentence with different assignees:
Maya should review the open accounts by Tuesday, Jordan can prepare the finance summary by Wednesday, and Priya should send the client follow-up by Friday. - Urgent tasks with specific due dates:
Please urgently send the proposal revision to the client by tomorrow at 3 PM, and make confirming the order quantities by Friday high priority. - Recurring tasks:
Add 3 recurring tasks: 1) Review open accounts every Monday, 2) Reconcile finance transactions on the last business day of every month, 3) Check in with active clients every other Friday. - A mix of due dates and no due date:
Review the proposal by July 30, create a checklist for processing incoming orders without a due date, and send the client status update next Tuesday.

Brand-new capabilities added this releaseFilter fields now have a searchable dropdown instead of chips
When building a slice filter or using bulk edit, the value field now opens a searchable list — alphabetical, with a task count next to each option. Type a few letters to narrow it down, use arrow keys to move, and press Enter or click to select. No more hunting through a wall of chips when you have many categories or team members.
New workspaces start with two slices already set up
When you create a workspace or join one via invite link, you now land on a board with an "All Tasks" slice and a "My Tasks" slice already waiting — both grouped by due date. No more staring at an empty screen and wondering where to begin.
Overdue tasks are clearly labeled in every slice
Tasks that have passed their due date now show an "Overdue" badge in every slice, regardless of how tasks are grouped, so you can spot what needs attention at a glance.

Existing features that work better than beforeAI task creation now uses your own custom categories, types, and priority names
If your workspace has customized category, type, or priority labels, voice and text task creation now reliably picks up your exact configured values instead of occasionally falling back to a generic guess. Say your own priority label — like "Rush" if that's what you renamed P1 to — and it lands correctly every time.
Task colors are calmer and more consistent
Owner, category, type, context, and repeat labels now pull from one consistent set of colors instead of a dozen unrelated ones scattered across the app — the same colors whether you're looking at a task on the board, confirming an AI quick-add, or checking the Members panel. Urgent priorities and overdue dates still stand out in red, so nothing important gets lost in the calmer palette.
Settings are simpler — one clean look instead of five to compare
The color theme picker in Settings is down to euqlic's own look, so there's no longer a grid of near-identical options to choose between. You also won't see the "categories unused 30+ days" pop-up interrupting you while you work anymore — that info still lives in Settings if you want to check it.
Opening or navigating to a day in the calendar now shows your first task, not midnight
When you tap the ‹ or › arrows in Day view, the timeline now scrolls straight to the first scheduled task of that day. Same thing after you drag a task to a different time slot — the view lands on your first task instead of starting at the top of the day at 12:00 AM.
Dragging in month view no longer moves your scroll position
After dropping a task onto a new date in month view, the calendar now stays exactly where you had it — the view no longer jumps or shifts. The task updates in place and you stay in context.
Month view navigation simplified — scroll to browse, tap Today to return
The ‹ and › arrows have been removed from month view. Scroll up and down to move freely through months, or tap Today to jump straight back to the current period. This avoids a quirk where the arrow buttons could skip certain months due to how the 42-day scroll model works.
The calendar remembers which view you were using
If you prefer week view, euqlic now opens to week view every time — not back to the default. Whichever of Day, Week, or Month you last used is restored the next time you open the calendar.
The calendar header shows the actual date, not just the view name
The header used to say "Week" or "Month" in large text with the actual date range underneath in small print. It now shows the date range itself — "Jul 6–12, 2026" or "July 2026" — prominently, so you always know exactly where you are at a glance.
Dropping a task onto a time slot in day view now sets the exact time
When you drag a task onto a time block in the day timeline, the task's time updates to that slot — snapped to 30-minute increments. Dropping across dates in week or month view still preserves the original time. All-day tasks stay all-day regardless of where you drop them.
Links in task notes open in a new tab
Tapping a hyperlink in a task's notes now keeps euqlic open — the link opens in a new browser tab. Before, clicking a link would navigate away and you'd have to tap Back to return.
Reviewing an AI-added task — or editing any task — is easier to scan at a glance
Every field, owner, due date, type, priority, and the rest, is now shown in a clean, labeled list you can see all at once, instead of a row of small tappable pills you had to check one at a time. The look is the same whether you're confirming a task added by voice or text, adding one manually, or editing an existing task on the board. When AI filled in the details, tap the sparkle next to "Editing" to see its reasoning — no separate popup to dismiss anymore.
Owner and Requested By now work the same way everywhere
Whether you're adding a new task or editing an existing one, Owner and Requested By now always pick from your workspace's People list through the same searchable dropdown. To assign a task to someone new, add them from the Members panel first — you'll find them in the dropdown right away.
Calendar colors now match your slice, not one fixed color for everyone
The Day/Week/Month toggle, the "+N more tasks" pill, task times, and the outline around today now all pick up your slice's own color — the same color you chose for it on the board — instead of always showing the same orange no matter which slice's calendar you're viewing.
The task-creation buttons got a color refresh
The floating buttons for adding a task by voice, by typing, or manually now use a clearer, more distinct set of colors, and they're grouped so the AI-powered ones sit together.
Clearer labels on every AI task-creation button
The Submit button now looks and reads the same everywhere you use it, and each entry point says plainly what it does — "Add 1 Task" for voice and typed quick-add, and "Bulk Create" for the Advanced button — so it's obvious which one to reach for.
The euqlic logo in the header now scales with the rest of the nav
The logo mark now matches the height of the workspace switcher and the other header controls, at any text size, instead of staying a fixed size on its own.
Adding or duplicating a task now makes a smarter guess at its category
If you don't say a category out loud, euqlic now picks the best fit from your workspace's own categories instead of leaving it blank. If it guesses wrong, correcting it once helps euqlic guess better next time.

Bugs resolved and rough edges smoothed outThe text size setting now applies to the calendar too
Adjusting text size in Menu → Size used to only change the board — the calendar stayed the same size no matter what you picked. Calendar text now scales right along with the rest of the app.
Dragging a task to reschedule it now reliably saves
In some situations, dropping a task onto a new date in the calendar appeared to work — the task moved on screen — but the change was never saved to the database and would revert on the next refresh. This has been fixed; the date update now always reaches the server.
Week view no longer jumps to a different week after you drag a task
After dropping a task onto a new date in week view, the calendar could snap sideways to a seemingly random different week. The view now stays anchored to the week you were looking at when you started the drag.
Long task names no longer push the column off-screen on iPhone
A task with a long unbroken title could stretch its column wider than the iPhone screen in portrait mode, requiring a sideways scroll to read anything. Text now wraps cleanly inside the card.
You can now hover into the task tooltip and click links inside it
The tooltip that appears when you hover a task card used to close the moment your mouse moved off the card. It now stays open for 300ms so you can move your cursor into it and interact with any links or content inside.
The checkbox next to a task title now lines up correctly at every text size
At smaller text sizes, the checkbox in front of a task's title could sit slightly out of line. It now scales together with the text, so it stays aligned no matter which size you've chosen.
Hitting the AI request limit now always shows a clear message
If you send a lot of AI requests in a short time, euqlic now always tells you plainly that you've hit the hourly limit and when to try again — instead of occasionally showing a generic, confusing error in its place.

Brand-new capabilities added this monthSee your tasks in a calendar — Day, Week, or Month
Any slice can now switch between board view and a date-based calendar layout. Day shows everything due today, Week gives you a 7-day span at a glance, and Month shows the full grid. Tasks with no due date collect in an "Unscheduled" strip at the bottom so nothing gets lost. Tap the calendar icon in any slice header to try it.
You can tell what AI is doing while it works
The voice and notepad wait screens now show short rotating messages — "Reading the recording," "Checking workspace options," "Preparing review chips" — so a 3-second pause feels deliberate rather than stuck. The messages clear the moment results arrive.

Existing features that work better than beforeCheck off a recurring task and see its next date immediately
Completing a recurring task now resets it right away — it reappears on the board with its next due date visible before that date even arrives. You can immediately confirm the next occurrence was scheduled correctly, rather than wondering whether it was picked up.
Set a time when bulk-updating due dates
You can now include a specific time when updating the due date across multiple selected tasks at once — not just the date. The time field is optional; skip it and tasks default to end-of-day, same as before.
Configure Fields is clearer and less error-prone
Each field in Configure Fields now shows a short description so you know what you're changing before you change it. Pressing Enter to confirm a new option no longer accidentally adds a second blank chip. Closing the modal without saving discards any partial input — no more half-typed values showing up in your dropdowns.
Get notified the moment someone creates a task for you
If a teammate adds a task by voice or text and assigns it to you, your inbox now gets the notification right away — not just when an existing task is reassigned to you. No more missing new work because it came in through the AI flow.
Say "by this weekend" and it always lands on Sunday
Weekend due dates now reliably resolve to Sunday — whether you say "by the weekend," "this weekend," "due this weekend," or "every weekend." Previously the day could land on Saturday depending on how you phrased it, which required a manual correction every time.
The app looks the same on every device
Inputs, dropdowns, date pickers, and buttons now use the same font as the rest of euqlic no matter what device or browser you're on. Previously, some controls fell back to whatever the system default was — which looked fine on one device and inconsistent on another.

Bugs resolved and rough edges smoothed outiPhone users no longer see a blank white screen on load
Some iOS Safari users were landing on a completely blank page instead of the sign-in screen, with no way to recover short of reloading. The app now shows a clear error message if startup fails — and the underlying cause is fixed for most devices. If you still hit a blank screen, force-quitting Safari and reopening clears it.
Tasks due "today" no longer incorrectly flash as "Due This Hour"
If you set a task due today without specifying a time, it belongs at the end of the day — not in the urgent "Due This Hour" bucket. A timing edge case was causing that mislabeling at 11:59 PM. Tasks with no specific time now always sit at end-of-day, where they belong.
Voice task entry no longer crashes at the confirmation screen
A rare crash could happen if you dismissed the voice confirmation screen at a specific moment during processing. It's fixed — the flow now completes cleanly regardless of timing.
Month calendar day cells no longer show a leading dot
Some day cells were displaying a stray " · " before the first task listed. The separator now only appears between tasks, as intended.
Inbox badge pulse is visible again when nudges arrive
New notifications and nudges had been arriving silently — the orange badge pulse had gone invisible after a styling change. The animation is restored, so you won't miss incoming activity.
Nudge badge no longer jumps in size
When a nudge arrives, the inbox badge now pulses in color only — the number stays the same size. The previous animation caused the count to briefly scale up, which shifted the header layout and could feel jarring.
Cleaner header on phones
The calendar toggle was cluttering the header on small screens without being practical at that size. It's now hidden on mobile — the board view is the right default for phones, and the header feels less cramped.
